Senior DevOps with infrastructure background - Contractor role

Using cloud-native approaches based on leading DevOps practices, we help organisations modernize applications and data, build in the leading security solutions and deploy everything on the right cloud infrastructure for maximum effectiveness. Primary ObjectivesOur Customer operates a developer platform called Skyway. Skyway provides all tools needed for a modern DevOps team like Jira, Confluence, Gitlab, Sonarqube, and Artifactory. The platform is widely used within the company and the general adoption rate of topics like CI/CD is above the average. The different components are hosted under different circumstances. Partly they are consumed as a SaaS, the party they are operated on-prem with the demand to move to the cloud. The Skyway team is divided into two teams: 1) standardization and support 2) future development.

Responsibilities

• Config Management with Ansible
• Config Management in the Cloud, Linux Administration, Debugging (e.g. Java Garbage Collector, Network, others if needed)
• Conceptualization and application of BestPractices regarding rebuild of IT systems
• Configuration, Securing, Maintenance & Support of the respective APIs of the Skyway Toolchain in a central API Gateway
• Support of integration of external services with Skyway Tools, the customer's knowhow
