RFP Analyst - Information Security Specialist

About the job 

With a commitment to innovation and customer success, we are seeking a skilled Information Security RFP Specialist to join our dynamic RFP/Sales team. The primary role and responsibility will be answering security questionnaires and assessments using provided training, documentation, and resources. The successful candidate should be comfortable engaging SMEs across Domo when needed. They must have strong written and verbal communication skills. At hiring, they must successfully complete the training provided on the Domo Data Experience Platform (domo.com) and in the use of RFPIO (RFPIO.com) within six weeks. 

Responsibilities: 

• Analyse client requests in the RFP lifecycle, particularly to understand information security requirements 
• Follow up continuously on proposal processes to advance deals 
• Complete security assessments that are often part of the RFP lifecycle 
• Ensuring the security and compliance of our platform by effectively responding to security questionnaires and assessments 
• Design and develop comprehensive RFP documents that accurately reflect our information security needs 
• Clearly outline the project scope, deliverables, timelines, evaluation criteria, and legal requirements in the RFP 
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including IT and security teams and sales leaders, to understand project requirements and objectives 
• Track and monitor project progress, ensuring timely completion of deliverables and adherence to project timelines. 
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders and management regarding the status of RFP activities and project milestones 
• Document lessons learned and best practices to continuously improve the RFP process 

What can you bring? 

• Have 4+ years of proven experience within IT security, risk and assessment 
• Bachelor's degree in Computer or Data Science, Information Security, or a related field 
• Have experience with supporting security questionnaires and assessments as well as RFP, RFQ, and RFIs 
• Familiarity with Shared Information Gathering (SIG) surveys and CAIQ questionnaires 
• Subject matter expertise in Information Security concepts and practice
• Understand privacy and SaaS principles for protecting Domo's and customers' confidential information
• Be able to comprehend and interpret customer questions and provide appropriate and concise responses based on Domo-provided content
• Excellent communication skills including writing, proofreading, and editing skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint
• Maintain a professional appearance and collaborate with Domo employees and partners on software, sales, service, product, compliance, and legal agreements. 

Desired  

• Experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics  
• Experience with RFPIO or other Proposal Software tools such as Loopio or Qvidian.  
• Understand win themes, sales strategies, and persuasive writing
• Understand the Shipley Proposal Methodology
• Be APMP certified
