About the RoleOur company depends on the Risk function to provide solutions for several challenges impacting the Trust & Safety of our platform. These can range from verifying the identity of users to identifying errant behavior patterns, preventing fraudsters from misusing our platform, and keeping our users safe whilst using our services. You will define, design, and develop products and services that are comprehensive and easily accessible to other businesses and platforms. You will also coordinate their integration in various platforms and services, ensuring that the fraud and resilience concerns are mitigated and that the required defenses are in place across all products.You will optimize our communication and processes to make them clear, efficient, fast, and effective to serve our users better and improve customer satisfaction. You will also be the champion of user-centricity in all of our Risk treatments.
What You Will Do
- Lead a team of Product Managers to define, design, and develop Risk products and services that can be leveraged across Gojek by multiple business units
- Set the agenda and strategic direction for the Risk product and services to align with achieving the goals of the organization
- Build relationships with other Product and Platform leaders and champion the Risk function and risk-related requirements within the Product organization
- Secure the resource commitments from other teams where needed, track the progress of key initiatives and keep all stakeholders informed, flagging issues proactively and keeping all parties accountable for their portions
- Champion user experience within the Risk organization and optimize current processes, practices and strategies from user experience perspective
- Lead Risk’s collaboration with other teams such as Design, Resolutions, etc. to help develop the appropriate messaging, treatment and resolution of Risk actions
What You Will Need
- 10+ years of experience in Product Management or similar roles involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional collaboration, preferably in the technology or e-commerce industry
- Experience leading teams
- Proven ability to build senior-level relationships and influence decision making
- Understanding of industry trends and best practices in enhancing account and user safety
- Experience with risk management preferred but not essential
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Organized, methodical, and analytical
