The position of front lobby receptionist is suited for a professional with a friendly attitude and the ability to multitask. You will greet guests entering the building and help direct them on where to go and connect them the customer contact. In addition, you’ll be responsible for helping respond to work requests submitted by employees and contractors and assigning them to the appropriate staff for completion. You will also be coordinating events and meetings by working with the customer to gather all details and forwarding that information to the appropriate groups for implementation. The ideal candidate has previous administrative experience, strong communication and customer service skills, and excellent organization. You also need to be proficient with the entire Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel.
This role will require being onsite Monday through Friday 40+ hours a week at our I-35/Walzem office. Key Responsibilities
- Greets guests, contractors and employees as they enter the front lobby and serves them by directing them appropriately.
- Supports the CEC with lobby coordination on customer visits to facility.
- Maintains the visitor closet and monitors visitor bags
- Notifies company personnel of visitor arrival.
- Maintains security protocols and signing in procedures.
- Informs visitors by answering or referring inquiries.
- Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories.
- Maintains security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor badges.
- Enter email work requests from employees into the workorder system for scheduling.
- Coordination with scheduling and signing up of food trucks and food vendors. Keeps track of food licenses and insurance forms verifying they are up to date.
- Responsible for maintaining and updating the employee discounts intranet site.
- Responsible for gathering the information on company events and team meetings and entering them into the events program for implementation by the various support teams.
- Cross-training on the duties of the workorder coordinator.
- Responsible for the placement, take down and storage of seasonal decorations of the lobby.
- Performs any other duties as assigned.

- Ability to maintain strict confidential standards.
- Good knowledge of office policies and procedures.
- Ability to control costs and analyze cost effectiveness of services and supplies.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
- Typically has a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an office services environment
