VASS is partnering with the European Commission to bolster its fight against fraud by providing high-quality corporate solutions for the Anti-Fraud Information System. We are seeking a talented DevSecOps Expert to join our team and contribute to the successful implementation of this critical initiative.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and implement systems management solutions for secure operating system deployment and updates, both on-premise and via the cloud.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate endpoint security solutions and ensure system patching efficiency.
• Manage IT projects related to AFIS workplace infrastructure.
• Engage with Commission departments to ensure alignment and collaboration on project objectives.

Job Requirements:

• Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
• Proficiency in Linux systems, Docker, Puppet, Python, CI/CD pipelines, and Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira)
• Strong background in server management, database management, and network security
• Experience with agile methodologies and Scrum management

Working Conditions:

• Service delivery mode: Near-Site in a remote work condition, occasional travel to Brussels may be required.
• Laptop provided by the Commission
