The ideal teammate is someone who has the skills to surface insights quickly and communicate those insights in a way that persuades action by senior leaders, product managers, designers, marketers and engineers. You'll use SQL, R, and/or Python often, but you won't be at your desk all day. Part of your job is to improve the data literacy of your product team, teaching people when, where, and how to harness the data available.You will be part of the team behind Atlassian Marketplace, one of the largest enterprise ecosystems in the world with over USD 1 billion in life-time revenue and accelerating growth. It is crucial not only to Atlassian's own success, but also to the success of our customers who find key business and productivity benefits across the 5k+ apps and our 1k+ global partner developers who build them. You’ll work with teams predominantly in Bangalore, partnering closely with other data scientists in Australia and US.On your first day, we'll expect you to have:A proven experience applying your analytics skills to projects which have had a positive impact on strategic and product roadmap decisionsStrong ability to communicate.
