SUMMARYXOR Security is seeking a talented CI/CD Engineer to join our team! On this project, you will support Rapid Development and Innovation with technical and system engineering Advisory & Assistance Services (A&AS). These services include cyber capability discovery, development, testing, advanced analytics, lifecycle support, data science needed to meet dynamic cyber mission requirements for our government customer.

In this role, you will get to support technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments; establish goals and plans that meet project objectives; direct and control activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met; and perform systems management and integration functions.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Integrate new hardware and software into cyber systems, integrate systems and architectures into new architectures, platforms or sites, and conduct hardware and software development for improved performance, functionality, reliability, portability, and user operability.
  • Provide Systems Engineering support to ensure synchronization and integration of cyber components.
  • Provide a methodical and disciplined approach for specification, design, and development.
  • Provide a technical approach for system design and development, which balances system performance, and provide assistance in the development life-cycle cost, schedule, and risks in addressing mission needs.
  • Assist in the design documents that serve as the basis of all staging, configuration and testing efforts.
  • Analyze identified design issues; consider design alternatives, and present a recommended solution.
  • Develop comprehensive DoD/USCYBERCOM unclassified and classified architectures to include sub-functional systems and partner network interfaces.
  • Assess capability gaps of the current DoD/USCYBERCOM architecture and develop an architecture roadmap/transition plan based on ""as is"" architecture and the ""to be"" architecture.
  • Conduct simulation modeling, data traffic flow analysis, network bandwidth analysis, performance and bottleneck analysis, design trade off
  • analysis, load balancing and scalability analysis to validate architecture development artifacts.
  • Develop High Level and detailed All View (AV), Operational Concept (OV), Systems (SV), Technical Standards (TV) and other Systems Engineering documents, drawings, and graphics for architectures using applicable Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) standards.
  • Participate in monthly and quarterly, In-Process (Design) Reviews (IPRs), and activities for the development and evaluation of cyberspace prototype solutions.
  • Coordinate with other organizations during architecture and capability development efforts to ensure alignment of development with requirements and to avoid duplication of efforts across the DOD, agencies, DARPA, National Labs, and Service Labs.

QUALIFICATIONSRequired Certifications

  • Active CISSP, CASP+CE, CSSLP certification (minimum DoD 8570 IASAE Level II Certification)

Education, Background, and Years of Experience

  • Meets one of the following minimum requirements with 1) a degree from an accredited college or university in System Engineering or related discipline and 2) years of experience as a System Engineer or related fields:
  • Minimum of 10 years with a Master's degree.
  • Minimum of 12 years with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 16 years of experience with an Associate's Degree or HS Diploma.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSRequired Skills

  • CI/CD Pipeline Experience.
  • Has domain and expert technical knowledge.
  • Ability to make decisions that impact the overall project implementation.

Preferred Skills

  • USCYBERCOM Experience

WORKING CONDITIONSEnvironmental Conditions

  • Customer/Government site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are not hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.

Strength Demands

  • Sedentary – 10 lbs. Maximum lifting, occasional lift/carry of small articles. Some occasional walking or standing may be required.   Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
