AWS Cloud Software Engineer IV

Job Summary: As a Rackspace Cloud Software Engineer IV you’ll implement cloud strategy from a technical perspective, including design, planning, integration, maintenance, and support of cloud architecture. Supports development and execution of cloud implementation strategy within organization's existing IT infrastructure. Work with stakeholders across organization to evaluate cloud systems and identify appropriate solutions. Responsible for adhering to company security policies and procedures and any other relevant policies and standards as directed. Work Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and complete key tasks and deliverables, and collaborate with others to define and implement optimal, complete solutions based on stakeholders needs.
• Deliver solutions that solve for new levels of complexity, scale, and performance, and in turn, enable breakthrough innovations. Create and apply frameworks, methods, best practices, and artifacts that deliver prescriptive guidance to customers, and publish and present the min large forums and across various media platforms.
• Assist on larger projects or run smaller opportunities independently.
• Technical depth and hands-on implementation experience of various practices and tools in the DevOps toolchain.
• Comfortable rolling up their sleeves to design and code modules for infrastructure, application, and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
• AWS certifications; either AWS Developer Associate or AWS Solutions Architect. Associate. 
• 5+ yrs. experience Cloud Native Development on the AWS platform with Python, Java, React, and NodeJS.  
• 3+ years’ experience with AWS DevOps.  
• Experience with the following Single Page App (SPA), Yaml, Golang, Jenkins, Groovy, Yarn, and Regular expression.
• Experience developing within distributed systems or a microservice based architecture. 
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
