You won’t regret it.The Software Solutions Support Specialist is responsible for providing quality services and solutions to our clients while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction. You are responsible for supporting, and training internal and external end users with their content management solutions and accompanying software/hardware.
Essential Functions
- Install, support and maintain solutions to completion.
- Provide guidance on best practice, training and technical support to internal and external end users/system administrators regarding operational and application issues.
- Maintain records of daily communication, ticket correspondence, problems, remedial actions taken and installation activities.
- Manage and maintain customer documentation including service contracts, license management, and implementation records. .
- Develop best practices and operational procedures.
- Provide ongoing client software/hardware training.
- Perform basic business process analysis, solution development, software support and server administration relevant to ECM, Capture Solution(s) and Custom Development applications.
- Conduct new product evaluations.
- Stay up to date with relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems.
- Meet SLA’s requirements for support of customer requests.
- Research, test and work with software partners to achieve full resolution of internal and external requests.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Act in accordance with Marco policies and procedures as set forth in the employee handbook.
Required Skills
- Possess knowledge of network topology and concepts, Server/OS platforms and applications, virtualized environments, scanning, OCR and other content management technologies.
- Possess an understanding database technology.
- Proficiency with business collaboration tools such as MS Office applications, Visio, and various company & customer applications .
- Debugging and error stack resolution abilities.
- Knowledge with network services and protocols, including but not limited to, Active Directory, IIS, TWAIN and ISIS, SMB, SQL, and MFA.
