Get on board as an Atlassian Site Reliability Engineer.As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) you will improve the performance and reliability of services and address causes of incidents and reduce incident rates. You will dig into the services we support and own the problem and the corresponding solution, and automating away repetitive work. You will develop and implement solutions that operate at scale - seeing your own technology efforts directly improve the reliability of our services.You will report to the Platform Engineering Tech lead. The team needs someone who can ask questions, learn from others. You will serve in an on-call weekly rotation to make sure our products meet established SLAs. Our teams are empowered and expected to improve our products to deliver a reliable experience to customers. You will lead development efforts in every sprint from planning to delivery to accomplish this goal and collaborate with different team to review code.One thing we promise: you'll never be bored.

On your first day, you will have experience in:

• 3+ years of experience with Bash and Python
• Triaging and diagnosing user facing service outages
• Contribute to capacity planning, demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and systems tuning.
• 5+ years of experience configuring and managing enterprise monitoring solutions
• Understanding of Linux systems
• Build, automating, and maintaining infrastructure in Amazon Web Services
• Maintain a high standard of code quality

We'd be super excited if you have:

• Exposure to and maintenance of configuration management and orchestration tools such as Ansible and Puppet
• Experience with container management and microservices architectures such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of ITIL terminology for incident and problem management
• Management and troubleshooting of a continuous integration pipeline
• Understand JVMs and Tomcat
• Experience with Compliance requirements (SOC2, FedRamp, etc)

CompensationAt Atlassian, we tie our base pay ranges to role and level. In the United States, that means your base pay ranges will fall into one of three geographic pay zones depending on your location. Our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:Zone A: $160,300 - $245,900Zone B: $144,200 - $221,300Zone C: $133,000 - $204,100Within each range, base pay is ultimately determined based on your skills, expertise, and experience.
