Senior Procurement Specialist

Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.Your future teamWe are looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist to manage and operationalize programs that drive Atlassian's Procurement transformation. You'll be a great fit for this role if you can identify process and system inefficiencies and implement ways to improve them, focusing on scale, quality and user experience.If you're passionate about process improvement, strategic relationships, building trust between our teams and their suppliers, and being the change you seek, then this role is for you.

What you’ll do

• Assist in the delivery of multiple procurement transformation programs
• Assist in program oversight, including reporting, methodologies and escalations
• Assist in the development of communication and change management activities
• Manage procurement's process and policy documentation ensuring their accuracy, currency and accessibility
• Collaborate with team members to implement transformation programs
• Manage Procurement compliance on a global basis to increase compliance, speed & transparency to regulations
• Manage procurement's resources ensuring their accuracy, currency, completeness and accessibility.
• Support the implementation and management of a procurement data analytics strategy to ensure the health of the procurement organization

Your Background

• Solid understanding of procurement elements and responsibilities: RFPs, Purchase Requests, Negotiations, Contracting, including procurement policies
• Experience driving operational improvements, organizational change and project management
• Previous experience with procurement tools is required, experience with Coupa would be great.
• Experience managing interactions with suppliers and wide range of stakeholders
• Experience analyzing processes and data to identify areas for improving efficiency
