Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.We are seeking a dynamic FP&A Business Partner for our G&A organisation to help shape and drive forward the vision of one of the fastest-growing companies in the market. The role will report to the Head of Business Partners for R&D and G&A. You will be the go-to person supporting our Team Anywhere (Real Estate) as they look to maximize the impact of our real estate while Atlassian leads the way in the distributed work revolution. This is an impactful role, not only will you be supporting the entire real estate footprint but we also embarking on a multi-year journey to build Atlassian Central (our new Australian HQ in Sydney)

In this role, you'll get to:

• Lead Atlassian’s forecasting, annual planning and long-range planning for our global facilities. 
• Partner with Team Anywhere to monitor the expenses of our global real estate and build trusted relationships with budget managers. 
• Become the financial subject matter expert with respect to Atlassian Central educating stakeholders on our financial and legal structure and keeping leaders informed of the multi-year financial implications.   
• Improve upon our capital expenditure reporting and forecasts. Aligning forecasts with corporate FP&A to ensure our company-wide free cash flow forecast is accurate. [Proactively highlight opportunities for process improvements]
• Develop analysis and ROI frameworks with clear driver-based assumptions to enable informed resource allocation decision-making by leadership. 
• Work with accounting with respect to the nuances and complexities of real estate and lease accounting. 
• Prepare and present monthly and quarterly variance to budget analyses to senior leaders as well as any ad-hoc budget analyses requested by the business
• Identify and execute process improvements

• Comfortable with senior leaders and even challenging the status quo when it's in the business’s best interests
• Quantitative
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Finance, Accounting, Economics), MBA and/or CPA is a plus
• 8+ years of experience in financial/analytical role
• Prior experience supporting sales from an FP&A perspective in a Saas company is highly desirable
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling
• Advanced financial modeling skills, highly proficient in Excel / Google Sheets. 
• Broad financial experience with strong acumen and curiosity to understand the upstream and downstream effects of business decisions. 
• Highly preferred but not required:
• Exposure to planning tools like Anaplan and Tableau 
• Technology or Software / SaaS industry experience
• Understanding of real estate development lifecycle, i.e. building facilities, operating facilities, subleasing)

$124,800 - $210,525 a yearCompensationAt Atlassian, we tie our base pay ranges to role and level. In the United States, that means your base pay ranges will fall into one of three geographic pay zones depending on your location. Our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:Zone A: $150,300 - $210,525Zone B: $135,300 - $189,473Zone C: $124,800 - $174,736Within each range, base pay is ultimately determined based on your skills, expertise, and experience. This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and/or equity.Please see here for more information on which locations are included in each of our geographic pay zones.
