You won’t regret it.The Internal Systems Apprentice will assist the Internal Support team with computer and application support issues, providing quality services and solutions to our internal employee. The role is hands-on, troubleshooting hardware and software related problems and testing equipment in a lab setting. ***This is a part-time, in-office (St. Cloud) position for undergraduate students looking to fulfill an academic internship requirement***
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Supporting IS Staff in the lab
- Working with end users on support calls and workstation support
- Loading, repairing, and setting up desktop and laptop computers
- Performing inventory control and minor tasks around lab
- Act in accordance with Marco policies and procedures as set forth in the employee handbook
- Perform other related duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Undergraduate student enrolled in an information technology related major and has completed 1-year in IT related courses; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to work in-office (St. Cloud) on a part-time
- Proficiency with business collaboration tools such as a MS Office applications including Excel and Outlook
- Superior internal and external customer service and communication skills
- Enthusiastic, dedicated to the challenge of helping other people
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail
- Strong ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion regarding confidential matters
- Self-starter with the ability to perform with little or no direct supervision
- Excellent organizational and time/task management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work within a defined timeline and to operate with changing priorities
- Function collaboratively as part of a fast-paced, client orientated team
