Talkdesk is currently seeking a Information Security RFP Specialist to join our Information Security team. The right candidate will be a key driver of information security sales strategy, prioritization efforts, and will help improve the Information Security Program at Talkdesk. You will be accountable for analyzing proposal requirements, responding to customer security assessments and ensuring 100% compliance and responsiveness. You will be responsible for scheduling and running security review customer meetings.

What you'll own:

• Analyze client requests (RFP, RFQ, RFI, etc.) to understand technical requirements, schedule and other matters of the projects
• Have subject matter expertise (SME) in Information Security
• Collaborate with other SME partners on all matters relating to Talkdesk software, sales, service, product, compliance, and legal agreements
• Follow-up continuously on proposal processes to advance deals
• Contribute to the RFP database (RFPIO)
• Complete security assessments that are often part of RFx (RFI, RFQ, and RFP) projects
• Complete Shared Information Gathering (SIG) questionnaires
• Prepare and maintain customer facing materials (example, information security ebooks)
• Ability to work during non-traditional hours as required to meet deadlines

Experience you'll need:

• 5+ years of experience with Security RFP Bid Proposal work or Security Engineering
• Technical writing and editing experience
• RFPIO software experience or other bid management software preferred
• Knowledge of Information Security and/or Network Architecture
• Experience working in Google Workspace, Confluence, and Jira
• Security certification(s) such as CISSP or Security+ are preferred
• Previous experience with SIGs or other Security Assessments
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
