This team empowers everyone at Trail of Bits to do their best work, with the best resources and support.We’re seeking an HR coordinator to support business strategy through talent and HR. This role will live in the HR function of our people operations team and report to the head of people operations. As an HR coordinator, you'll work cross-functionally with people operations and finance to support our day-to-day HR operations, payroll, and HR data tracking and reporting. You'll have a unique skill opportunity to combine a passion for employee experience and streamlining process.
Responsibilities
- Support the Head of People Operations with all Talent-related activities such as onboarding, new hire orientation, HRIS maintenance, payroll, compliance, data management, terminations, and the performance management cycle.
- Administer health insurance and benefit plans, including open enrollment, changes, and terminations.
- Assist finance with payroll, direct deposits, PTO accruals and tracking, timesheets, rate changes, and retroactive adjustments.
- Complete I-9 and employment verifications.
- Collaborate with finance to conduct audits of our payroll, benefits, and HRIS systems maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
- Update and streamline internal People Operations policies and procedure documentation and handbooks.
- Answer employee requests and questions related to insurance and benefit offerings.
- Maintain local, state, and federal compliance regulations in all HR tasks.
- Prepare and maintain all employee files.
- Maintain all employee information in our HR systems.
- Assist with updates, enhancements, testing, data validation and integrations of our people systems.
- Maintain all People Operations data, reporting and metrics.
Requirements
- At least three years of human resources or related experience required.
- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
- Payroll experience required.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy and thoroughness.
- Strong working knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems (Proficiency in Justworks, Unanet, Deel, Remote.com, Pave, Ramp, and Betterment preferred).
- Experience working with a distributed workforce, and comfortable using remote communication tools such as Google Suite and Slack.
- High proficiency in Google Suite.
- Strong customer-service skills answering employee questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Exceptional ethics around confidentiality and sensitive information.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced remote environment.
- Must live in the United States or Canada.
