Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.JOB DUTIES:Build and design the company's core web experience across our e-commerce platform on atlassian.com, bitbucket.org, and more. Push current trends in web development to create a cutting-edge experience across the brand. Work with a team of UX experts (Product Managers, Designers, and Developers) to continually iterate and improve the experience of our internal and external users. Drive innovation by coming up with new ideas to creatively solve issues, as well as actively look for opportunities to improve the design, interface, and architecture of the company's core web presence. Work with JavaScript and supporting libraries (ex. ES6, React, Node), and REST to perform platform integrations. Write cross-browser compliant HTML & Sass/CSS. Work closely with UX and Visual Designers in a dynamic environment to build out responsive views. Work with GIT in a collaborative team setting.MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 year of software development experience working front-end web development technologies (JavaScript, React), and server technologies (Docker, Express/Node).SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must pass technical interview.
