Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.The Customer Data Platform (CDP) Lead is responsible for managing the data structure, ingest requirements with a cross-functional team and supporting all related activation requirements. This role fully supports the Digital Marketing efforts to grow and engage the Atlassian customer base.The CDP lead will have experience with all aspects of the digital customer lifecycle from acquisition to growth and retention. You would be responsible for developing a deep understanding of business processes across Sales, Marketing, and Operations to enable data-driven targeting, reporting, and automation via the CDP.You should be creative and analytical with large data sets from multiple data sources. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, yet remain grounded to ensure compliance, standards and goals are met. You should have strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills. You should excel in your ability to present to executive stakeholders. You work well with marketing and technology teams on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

    • CDP Roadmap: Serve as a subject matter expert on the CDP, including training, enablement and build/maintain technology roadmap including architecture and vendor management.
    • Business Partnership: Organize & facilitate requirement capture workshops with marketing stakeholders for Omni-channel customer engagement strategy. Maintain internal stakeholder relationships, serving as the primary go-to partner.
    • Audience Management & Activation: Build campaign audiences in CDP, set up audience journeys, review with stakeholders and activate the audiences across marketing channels.
    • Data Governance & Hygiene: Oversee the Data Quality, including the collection and maintenance of complete, consistent and compliant data.
    • Build to scale: Partner with IT & Ops to build new integration endpoints with clearly articulated User Stories, roadmap and implementation plans.
    • Build proofs-of-concept (POC) for potential new solutions and technologies by partnering with technology teams.
    • Enablement & improve Productivity: Train and support marketing stakeholders on using our CDP. Be an advocate within the organization by presenting and socializing the current and new capabilities being built and how they can unlock growth opportunities for different functions within the organization.
    • Project Management: Work closely with cross-functional leaders to ensure project & timelines are aligned with GTM strategic goals and overall data & analytics strategy. Partner with internal IT teams to ensure adherence to product release schedules and the overall roadmap.

Qualifications

    • 4+ years of experience in B2B demand generation, marketing analytics & data strategy
    • Extensive hands-on experience with a CDP (ActionIQ/Salesforce/Adobe etc) to build and enrich customer profile for omnichannel marketing.
    • Strong technology, analytics and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in SQL/Query languages.
    • Technical understanding of Marketing Automation tools (Marketo/SFMC etc), Salesforce CRM, Analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics), Tableau is highly desirable.
    • Produce high quality and quantity of work product, occasionally under tight timelines.
    • Deep understanding of REST APIs is a BIG plus!
