Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.To help our teams work together effectively, this role requires you to be located in the Philippines.Job DescriptionAs a Compensation Specialist, you'll collaborate with team members and partners - Talent Acquisition, HR Partners, HRIS, HR Operations - on advising on offer development, reviewing offer exceptions, identifying and working on process improvements and enhancements, and providing ongoing support and education to partners to increase shared understanding of our compensation programs.You'll also implement our core compensation processes within a major geographic zone or major talent market. This includes market benchmarking, structure development, and support for our annual compensation planning cycle.You'll analyze employee, market and financial data to summarize findings, draw insights and support recommendations on compensation programs. We have an exciting roadmap ahead for FY23 and beyond. We need your passion, and creativity to work on projects and company-wide programs to help Atlassian implement at scale.If that isn't compelling enough, we are a globally distributed team yet manage to be close-knit. Our team meetings range from a focus on compensation related topics to birthday recognition and competitive games.

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

    • 4-7 years of experience in the compensation field at a multinational company with exposure to global compensation
    • Advanced Excel skills (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and preferably experience with Workday or a similar HRIS system
    • A good business acumen and proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative analysis to support decision-making
    • Proficiency in handling tickets including the management and resolution of compensation-related inquiries and requests.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with stakeholders from different cultural backgrounds and at various organizational levels.
    • Ability to manage diverse responsibilities that may extend beyond the standard duties of a compensation specialist
    • A natural ability for confidentiality and discretion
    • Bachelor's' degree in HR, Finance or a related discipline
