Cloud Architect

XOR Security is a leading provider of cyber solutions, services and support to Military Forces, Intelligence Agencies and Federal Civilian customers. Focused on computer network defense operations, we design, develop and assure a broad range of systems for sustainment of mission critical requirements, and homeland security. In support of these ongoing efforts, XOR Security is actively seeking a Cloud Architect.

The Cloud Architect will serve as a technical thought leader and. You will plan, analyze, design, test, and deploy enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure cloud solutions. You will be a technical subject matter expert on both cloud and on-premises infrastructure systems. You will develop relationships with key stakeholders and help them achieve their business goals.

Roles and Responsibilities

• The Cloud Architect coordinates with Microsoft Premier and TSD to assess the current cloud environment and applications to be migrated and recommend a cloud solution in Azure.
• Lead technology and teams, establishing and owning enterprise architecture and technology strategic roadmaps to bring relevant, innovative and new technology to the enterprise cloud development and operations.  
• Cloud Architect works closely with the business team to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge capabilities in support of the organizations’ strategic vision.
• The Cloud Architect will be fluent in data and application integration for public, private and hybrid clouds.
• Performs expert-level cloud system architecture, design, and development work, performing systems modeling, simulation, and analysis as required.
• Serves as technical Cloud subject matter expert in meetings with management, stakeholders, and application owners, operating as technical Cloud liaison between management, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Identify areas of improvement related to system security, cost, functionality, and scalability, and/or enhancements.
• Determines system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
